Health Science Simulation Center

Northeast Health Sciences Simulation Center is a resource available to students and healthcare professionals to facilitate real patient situations in a life-like setting. We are committed to advancing safe, high-quality, effective patient care throughout all Health Science and the region by integrating cutting-edge simulation technologies into the training of all learners.

Health Science Simulation Center facility includes a Skills Classroom, Conference Room, Hospital Rooms, VR Stations, Birthing Suite, Emergency Room bays, and an Ambulance bay. Designed as a highly flexible dynamic setting, each space simulates real life with realistic headwalls and medical equipment.   

 

Why use simulation?

Simulation has been proven to reduce human error while increasing learner 91¿´Æ¬ ’s skill development. Simulation allows learners to practic skills in a controlled environment. Simulation offers access to patients on demand.
