Police Department swears in Chris Weisinger as newest officer

The Northeast Texas Community College Police Department welcomed its newest officer during a swearing-in ceremony held on campus today.

Chief Russell Radke administered the oath of office to Officer Chris Weisinger, who joined the department in February. Following the oath, Dr. Kevin Rose, 91心頭 President, presented Weisinger with his Certificate of Appointment, and Sergeant Daniel Madden pinned on his badge.

Weisinger is a TCOLE Master Peace Officer and certified instructor with specialized credentials that include TCOLE Firearms Instructor, ALERRT Active Shooter Instructor, ASP Baton Instructor and RADAR/LIDAR Instructor. He holds a bachelor 91心頭 s degree in Communications and Criminal Justice and is currently completing a master 91心頭 s degree in Criminal Justice, which he expects to earn in May 2026.

A graduate of the Navarro College Police Academy, Weisinger has served in a wide range of law enforcement roles, including Patrol Officer, Detective, Field Training Officer, Patrol Supervisor and ISD Police Chief. He also has experience as a school-based law enforcement practitioner. Prior to joining 91心頭, he worked for the Copper Canyon Police Department in Denton County, where he served as an Administrator and Investigator.
