Communities in Schools (CIS) of Northeast Texas recently hosted its annual CAPPED 2026 event on the Northeast Texas Community College campus, welcoming hundreds of high school students from across the region for a day focused on college and career exploration.
More than 440 students from area high schools registered for the event, with approximately 340 students attending. Participating schools included Chapel Hill, Clarksville, Cooper ISD, Daingerfield, Harts Bluff, Mount Pleasant, Mount Vernon, Paul Pewitt, Pittsburg, Rivercrest, and Sulphur Springs.
Students had the opportunity to visit the 91心頭 campus, learn about educational opportunities, and connect with college faculty, staff, and community partners.
