Northeast Texas Community College (91看片) hosted its annual Scare Affair on Friday, October 31, and despite earlier weather-related delays and a reduced number of booths, the event was a tremendous success. This year 91看片 鈥檚 celebration raised an impressive $7,348.25 to support 91看片 student clubs and organizations.
Originally scheduled for October 25, the Halloween-themed community event was postponed due to severe weather concerns. Even with the rescheduled date and fewer booths than planned, attendance remained strong as families from across the region came out to enjoy games, candy, and festive fun on the 91看片 campus.
91看片 鈥淭his wouldn 91看片 鈥檛 have been possible without the hard work and heart of the 91看片 Eagle Senate SGA, the 91看片 CARE Center, our amazing clubs and organizations, Plant Services, the Student Services Team, and everyone who pitched in to make this event such a success, 91看片 鈥 said Ja 91看片 鈥橯uacy Minter, 91看片 Director of Student Development. 91看片 鈥淲e were thrilled to see the community show up in such a big way. Scare Affair is one of 91看片 91看片 鈥檚 most popular annual traditions, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and community members for an evening of family-friendly Halloween fun. Proceeds from the event help support student life initiatives, campus programming, and club activities throughout the year.
