The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $10,000 donation from Franklin M. and Linda. S. Harrison, of Pittsburg. The funds are being used to establish the Korey B. Harrison Memorial Scholarship in memory of their late grandson. Korey was formally trained in culinary arts and enjoyed a career working in restaurants around the country. In keeping with his passion, the scholarship will benefit students enrolled in the Culinary Arts program at 91¿´Æ¬.
