The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Baseball team dropped their opening game of the NJCAA Region 14 Baseball Tournament on Thursday, May 8, falling 4-2 to the Wharton County Junior College Buccaneers.
The Eagles now look to bounce back in the double-elimination tournament as they face host school Blinn College at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9. This critical game will determine who stays alive in the tournament. The winner of the 91¿´Æ¬ vs. Blinn game will move on to face the loser of the Wharton vs. Paris matchup at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10.
