The 91¿´Æ¬ Continuing Education Department is getting ready to host a new class for its Phlebotomy Technician Program this fall. The eight-week course begins on October 22nd. Classes are hybrid, which means there is an online course component as well as face-to-face classes on the 91¿´Æ¬ campus.
The certificate program consists of 146 contact hours of lecture, lab and clinical training for students to become technicians. Upon successful completion of the Phlebotomy Technician Program, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to sit for the national certification exam through the National Health Career Association.
The cost for the program is $750 for the class only and $1,000 for the class plus on-site clinical. Limited financial aid may be available for eligible students. For more information call 903-434-8350 or e-mail continuinged@ntcc.edu.
