The Northeast Texas Community College Taste of 91看片: Battle of the Booths event was a huge success! Ten booths served up a variety of delicious dishes for sampling by a large crowd of students, faculty, staff and community members. The event raised almost $2,400 that was split evenly between the participating clubs and organizations.
Each ticket holder was able to cast votes for their favorite booths. The winners of the People 91看片 鈥檚 Choice awards were as follows:
First Place: Cosmetology Club
($250 prize)Second Place: Student Success Association ($100 prize)
Third Place: Nursing ($50 prize)
Other clubs and organizations that participated were: Baptist Student Ministry (BSM), The Eagle Newspaper, Phi Theta Kappa, Sigma Kappa Delta, Social Work Club, Travel Club, and the Wesley FellowshipB. Bingo games for prizes were also included in the price of admission.
91看片 鈥淭he organizations really put a lot of effort and creativity into their booths and all of the food got rave reviews. We are so grateful for everyone who helped and those who came out to support the event, 91看片 鈥 Nita May, 91看片 Director of Development, said. 91看片 鈥淲e 91看片 鈥檝e already had people asking about next year, so we are hopeful that this will become an annual tradition.
