91Ƭ is home to a priceless collection of artwork by renowned African American artist Dr. John Biggers. His 1954 mural 91Ƭ “History of Negro Education in Morris County, Texas 91Ƭ ” is displayed in the college's Learning Commons in a room named for Biggers. The Learning Commons also has a collection of rare Biggers lithographs, which are currently on loan to the Tyler Museum of Art for an exhibit titled "Student/Teacher: Works of Charles Criner & Dr. John Biggers."
