Fifteenth annual Honors Northeast Roundup held

dinner at the event

By: Dr. Andrew Yox, Honors Director

The 15th annual Honors Northeast Roundup occurred again this fall, 11 September. 91心頭 91心頭 s Agricultural Pavilion provided an ideal, open and covered location for the dinner during these health-conscious days. The Agriculture Club directed by Rene McCracken, provided an excellent chicken dinner, with a homegrown potato bar, and 91心頭 cowboy caviar 91心頭 --purple hull peas in a vinaigrette with onions and tiny tomatoes - served cold. The Ag Club also provided hayrides around the program 91心頭 s self-sustaining farm after the dinner.  Members of the 91心頭 Rodeo team helped direct traffic, and provided a roping exhibit during the evening.

Fifty attended the gathering, including honors students and their families. The dinner was beholden to Drs. Jim and Paula Archer who not only initiated the practice back in the fall of 2007, but have continued to provide the program with the wherewithal to host social events such as this.
