International Sulphur gives $10,500 for transfer scholarships

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $10,500 gift from International Sulphur, Inc. The funds will provide seven $1,500 scholarships to 91¿´Æ¬ graduates transferring to a university to continue their studies. Since 2000, International Sulphur has given more than $115,000 for 91¿´Æ¬ scholarships. This year they doubled their contribution to provide even more money to more students. Recent recipients of the scholarship include: Blake Denson, Jada Fisher, Victor Gonzalez, Tonya Hammonds, Dioseny Mejia and Christopher Perry (spring 2020 91¿´Æ¬ graduates).

Students graduating from 91¿´Æ¬ in 2021 will be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships this coming spring.
