The Northeast Texas Community College Eagles Baseball team split a double header with Hutchinson on Thursday. The Eagles won game one 7-1 and dropped the second game 9-7.
In the opener, the eagles had a big third inning which propelled them to the win. , 91¿´Æ¬ †, and 91¿´Æ¬ †91¿´Æ¬ †all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
The Eagles actually got things started in the first inning when 91¿´Æ¬ †91¿´Æ¬ †doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs. Then in the third they 91¿´Æ¬ †notched five more runs, including home runs by 91¿´Æ¬ †, 91¿´Æ¬ †, and 91¿´Æ¬ †.
Chandler Dean 91¿´Æ¬ †led things off on the rubber for 91¿´Æ¬ †. He pitched seven innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out four. 91¿´Æ¬ †The Eagles 91¿´Æ¬ †racked up nine hits. 91¿´Æ¬ †, 91¿´Æ¬ †, and 91¿´Æ¬ †91¿´Æ¬ †each collected multiple hits for 91¿´Æ¬ †. 91¿´Æ¬ †The defense played sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. 91¿´Æ¬ †91¿´Æ¬ †made the most plays with seven.
