American Legion Post 0210 (Mount Pleasant) recently presented a check for $3,000 to the Northeast Texas Community College Foundation. Steve Austin, Post 0210 Adjutant/Financial Officer (center) is pictured making the presentation to Daisy Bates (left), 91¿´Æ¬ Advisor and Veterans Affairs Coordinator, and Dr. Josh Stewart, 91¿´Æ¬ Vice President for Student and Outreach Services. The gift will be combined with the current Landers Veterans Scholarship and will now be the new Landers-Jessup/Reed Veterans Memorial Scholarship which will provide $300 per year to a veteran attending 91¿´Æ¬.
