The Follett Higher Education Group Book Scholarship was recently awarded to five members of the Northeast Texas Community College Alpha Mu Chi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. 91¿´Æ¬ †Chris Hall, Kayleah Cumpian, Ashley Hall, Sarah Jo Fox and Tyler Reynolds (pictured) received the award. 91¿´Æ¬ †Recipients are expected to be active members of the chapter and help out with chapter activities. 91¿´Æ¬ †The scholarship consists of $250 to help cover the costs of textbooks. 91¿´Æ¬ †The chapter was awarded a total of $1,250 (which was divided evenly among the five recipients) as a result of Noah Griffin (last year?s chapter president) being recognized as a member of the All USA Community College Academic Team. 91¿´Æ¬ †Griffin was recognized as one of the top twenty community college students within the nation. Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for two-year college students. 91¿´Æ¬ â€
