Getting a grip on today?s agriculture technology and becoming an effective farm business partner is 91��Ƭ †the focus of Annie?s Project. Northeast Texas Community College Agriculture is joining this exciting initiative with a series of courses beginning in January. 91��Ƭ †Annie?s Project is based on the experiences of a farm wife who spent her 91��Ƭ †lifetime learning how to be an involved business partner with her farm husband. Together they did 91��Ƭ †great things, but it wasn?t easy. Annie?s project takes life experiences and share?s it with 91��Ƭ †farm women 91��Ƭ †living and working in a complex dynamic, evolving 91��Ƭ †business environment.

This is Annie?s project ? to take her life?s experiences and 91��Ƭ †share it with farm women living and working in a complex, 91��Ƭ †dynamic, evolving business environment. 91��Ƭ †Annie?s project is designed to empower 91��Ƭ †farm women 91��Ƭ †to 91��Ƭ †manage information systems used in critical decision 91��Ƭ †making processes and to build local networks throughout 91��Ƭ †the state. The target audience is farmwomen with a 91��Ƭ †passion for business and involvement.

Farm women will receive training for managing 91��Ƭ †information in the areas of: Financial Records, Production Records, Marketing Plans and 91��Ƭ †Risk Management, Legal/Regulation Records and Documentation, Human Resources 91��Ƭ †and Time Management. 91��Ƭ †This women?s empowerment program will be offered in six sessions beginning on Monday, January 91��Ƭ †5, 2014 and continuing each Monday through February 9, 2014. Cost of the workshop series is $45 91��Ƭ †per person and class size is limited. 91��Ƭ †

As the class is limited in size, RSVP is a must with the first 10 91��Ƭ †participants registered on first come first serve basis.
