Ashley Laureano (center) 91¿´Æ¬ †of Mount Pleasant, was recently 91¿´Æ¬ †presented with the J. Travis Jackson 91¿´Æ¬ †GED 91¿´Æ¬ †Scholarship during the 91¿´Æ¬ †2014 91¿´Æ¬ †GED graduation ceremony hosted by the Northeast Texas Community College Adult Education Department. 91¿´Æ¬ †This $500 award is given by the Mount Pleasant Rotary Club in memory of Jackson, who was a long time adult educator in Titus County. 91¿´Æ¬ †Making the presentation is Malik Latif (left), President of the Mount Pleasant Rotary Club and Carolyn Pope, GED Instructor.
