The Northeast Texas Community College Medical Assistant program recently learned that 100 percent of students graduating from the program this May have passed their professional 91看片 鈥燾ertification 91看片 鈥爀xams. 91看片 鈥燭he May 2014 class is pictured (from left): Irma Ruiz of Mt. Pleasant, Sheravon Hopkins of Hughes Springs, and Holly Mayers of Cumby. 91看片 鈥燭he Medical Assisting program is a 24-month curriculum designed to prepare individuals to perform the duties of a medical assistant who functions in an acute care clinical setting or physician?s office in the areas of medical office administration, clinical lab procedures and examining room assisting.Upon completion of the program the graduate will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree and is eligible to test 91看片 鈥爁or the National Certification Medical Assisting (CMA) exam offered through the American Association of Medical Assistant (AAMA). 91看片 鈥燭o learn more about the 91看片 Medical Assistant program, contact Nelda Davis at 903-434-8363.
