Kyle Penney (right), President of East Texas Communities Foundation, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Vice President for Advancement at Northeast Texas Community College, are pictured holding a $12,000 check from the Burt and Nancy Marans Charitable Fund at East Texas Communities Foundation. 91¿´Æ¬ †The money is to be used as for "emergency" scholarships for non-traditional students enrolling at 91¿´Æ¬ for the 2014 spring semester. 91¿´Æ¬ †Burt and Nancy Marans were strong supporters of the Scholarship program at 91¿´Æ¬ and, through carefully planned estate giving, they continue to help both the College, and more importantly, 91¿´Æ¬ †the citizens of our community.
