Kyle Penney (right), President of East Texas Communities Foundation, and Dr. Jonathan McCullough, Vice President for Advancement at Northeast Texas Community College, are pictured holding a $45,000 check from the Burt and Nancy Marans Charitable Fund at East Texas Communities Foundation. 91¿´Æ¬ †The money is to be used as a challenge grant to help complete the 91¿´Æ¬ †Final Curtain Call 91¿´Æ¬ †portion of the Campaign for the Whatley. 91¿´Æ¬ †The $45,000 will be placed in a fund and every time a gift comes in for the Campaign for the Whatley, 91¿´Æ¬ †the dollar-for-dollar matching portion will be drawn from the fund and be used for the campaign. 91¿´Æ¬ †In essence, the Marans are doubling every dollar given to the campaign. 91¿´Æ¬ †Burt and Nancy Marans were strong supporters of the cultural events offered at 91¿´Æ¬ and, through carefully planned estate giving, they continue to help both the College, and more importantly, 91¿´Æ¬ †the citizens of our community. 91¿´Æ¬ †Visit 91¿´Æ¬ †91¿´Æ¬ †to contribute to the 91¿´Æ¬ †campaign today. 91¿´Æ¬ †For more information on the Campaign for the Whatley, or planned giving opportunities, please contact McCullough at 903-434-8115
