Have you seen those people on campus throwing Frisbee looking things? 91¿´Æ¬ †What about those yellow baskets with chains hanging from them? 91¿´Æ¬ †Get used to it?and a whole lot more!
Eagle Disc Golf, one of the newest student clubs on the 91¿´Æ¬ campus, has hit the ground running. 91¿´Æ¬ †After an initial fundraiser selling custom designed Eagle Disc Golf discs, the club is pleased to announce its first ever 91¿´Æ¬ Disc Golf Classic tournament, scheduled for Friday, November 1st, at 12:00pm. 91¿´Æ¬ †It is open to the public; however, the student division is the only one available to win prizes. 91¿´Æ¬ †There will be a limited number of discs available to borrow for those who do not have their own. 91¿´Æ¬ †Also, the College Store and Hastings in Mt. Pleasant sell discs and disc sets.
This year?s tournament will feature an 18-hole tournament on the newly redesigned Eagle Disc Golf Course, a ?longest drive? competition, a putting challenge, and many other features. 91¿´Æ¬ †Professional disc golfer, Ken Herrod, will be back on campus as well, offering participants free lessons and demonstrations. 91¿´Æ¬ †For more information on how you can become a part of the Eagle Disc Golf club, please contact PDGA member and club sponsor, Troy White, at twhite@ntcc.edu, or ask anyone working the tournament. 91¿´Æ¬ †See you there!
