The Certified Nurse Aide program at 91¿´Æ¬ Sciences is a course series designed to prepare students to take the state certification test with NACES. This 91¿´Æ¬  100 hour 91¿´Æ¬  course prepares entry level nursing assistants to achieve a level of knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to provide basic care to residents of long-term care facilities. The course consists of 60hrs of class with 40hrs of clinical experience at a local nursing facility.
The CNA program at 91¿´Æ¬ is a state certified Nurse Aide Training and 91¿´Æ¬  Competency 91¿´Æ¬  Evaluation Program (NATCEP).
This program is an acceptance program, students must apply to the program and meet all qualifications, pass a background check and a state registry 91¿´Æ¬  check 91¿´Æ¬  before registering.
Additional cost: $116 for textbooks, $206 uniform/supplies, $95 for exam

*Payment Plan: Payment 91¿´Æ¬  plan that auto drafts 91¿´Æ¬  from 91¿´Æ¬  account 91¿´Æ¬  through Herring Bank is 91¿´Æ¬  available for eligible students at the time of registration. A 50% down payment is required to set up payment plan at the time of enrollment. Eligible programs are CNA, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy, and Firefighter only.
**Financial Aid: Students can apply for financial aid assistance. To qualify for financial aid, students must apply for financial aid through 91¿´Æ¬  for 91¿´Æ¬  the 2018-2019 91¿´Æ¬  school year. The financial aid office at Northeast Texas Community College determines student eligibility. Students interested in financial aid 91¿´Æ¬  are encouraged 91¿´Æ¬  to apply 4 weeks prior to starting classes. If students qualify for aid, then students can apply for a Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) and if eligible, can receive ½ of the tuition/fees paid by the TPEG grant. The remaining balance is the responsibility of the student. Eligible programs are CNA, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy, Firefighter, and Truck Driving only.

Registered participants will be notified if course is cancelled and will be issued a full refund. Withdraw before 1st class 91¿´Æ¬ – 100% refund. Withdraw before 2nd class 91¿´Æ¬ – 80% refund. No refund after 2nd meeting. Contact the Continuing Education Office for withdrawing.
